Seeking Diagnosis

Seeking a diagnosis can be a complex process.

There are benefits and limitations to seeking a diagnosis.  For more information please visit:

When seeking a diagnosis, the primary physician is a good starting point.  Specially trained professionals or groups may exist in the area in which you live.

When seeking providers in Missouri who have specific training in diagnosis,

The Missouri Resources for Diagnosis and Evaluation might help.

When seeking providers in Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, or Arkansas who have attended specialized training on FASD, please consult the Midwest Regional Fetal Alcohol Training Center.

For additional information, please consult the National and State Directory from the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
